I can’t say it’s been easy but I wanted to share some changes  I’ve noticed!

✅ No bloating ✅ No congestion ✅ No constipation ✅ Natural spurts of energy without coffee ✅ Increased positive energy ✅ Less brain fog ✅ Reduced cravings

Thankful to have a hot non-egg breakfast choice, especially on these raining summer mornings. Simple-ish dinner of bunless burgers with basil aioli from @primal_gourmet.

@WHOLE30 EMERGENCY OFFICE MEALS ‼️ You’re at a grocery store and you have 10 minutes to grab food and get back to the office. This grocery store is not Whole Foods. 😂 What do you do? Here’s what I keep in my office already:
• Olive Oil
• Salt + Pepper
• Balsamic vinegar (check your labels)
• Raw cashews
Here’s what I get at the grocery store:
• A small bag of greens
• Another bagged veggie that doesn’t require washing (think snap peas, baby carrots, broccoli slaw... and YES snap peas are compliant)
• Prosciutto or a can of quality tuna. These are most likely the only ready-to-eat animal protein options at your average grocery store! Check labels, of course!
Once you grab your greens and your protein, you already have dressing, seasoning, and an extra bit of nutty crunch to toss right in! I also keep an @rxbar or two in my office as well if I can’t escape for even a few minutes. What are your quick grab and go favorites from an average grocery store? I’d love to know! 💕⬇️

It has just been FREEZING here and my body is craving all of the “comfort food”. I was able to grab a pot roast from Whole Foods this last week. I threw it in a crock pot and let it sit for 8 hours while I was at work and came home to some awesome dinner. •
Pot roast with Mashed Potatoes
2 lbs chuck roast
1.5 cups compliant beef broth
14 oz compliant diced tomato with juice 
1/2 onion, diced and cook in a skillet with 2 cloves of garlic 
1 tbsp thyme, fresh (chopped)
1 tbsp rosemary, fresh (chopped)
Salt pepper.
Add all ingredients to crockpot and cook on low for 8 or so hours (mine cooked closer to 10 and it was dry). You can use the liquid as gravy (remove from crock pot and add tapioca starch in a sauce pan to thicken it up). Serve with any veggie!

🇺🇸 Today was hard. Although this picture of my dinner is nothing special, it represents a huge non- scale victory for me. This afternoon we went shopping and my toddler misbehaved so much at the store. She totally lost it, I almost totally lost it and truth is, when I got home, all I wanted was to just order pizza and have a glass of wine and call it a night. But no; I decided that I wasn’t going to let my stress and frustration get the better of me. So, here’s to better decision making and conquering day 17 of the Whole30. 😅💪🏼🎉————————————————————————-
🇪🇸 Hoy fue un día difícil. Aunque esta foto de mi cena no parezca nada especial, representa un logro súper importante para mi. Hoy fuimos a comprar en la tarde y mi hija se portó tan mal. Ella colapsó y yo casi colapsé y sinceramente lo único que quería hacer era pedirme una pizza, tomarme una copa de vino e irme a dormir. This recipe was a #whole30fail for me... it was supposed to be orange chicken, but I messed up the sauce proportions and didn’t fry the chicken correctly. 🍽 Today I took pictures from every meal I have eaten. From my earlier post and now with this one from lunch and dinner. ☀️Lunch was a veggie and herb frittata 🍳over romaine with purple sweet potato. Side of banana and blackberries. 🌜⭐️Dinner was a bolognese sauce over zucchini 🍝 noodles.

Swipe! ➡️ 🎤 Woooaaahh... we’re halfway there! 🙏🏼 it’s day 15 of my #whole30 journey and I’m not gonna lie - the cravings are real today 😅 it’s crazy how things change from day to day, yesterday I had no appetite, today I’m starving! But the good news is, I feel physically great and I’ve already noticed my clothes fitting better. I’ve got a long way to go, but I’m stoked about successfully getting halfway through 🙌🏽

Having a corporate job in a remote office has a lot of perks - easy access to healthy options for lunch, not having to wear real pants, and no commute (which, in ATL, is a big upside). One of the few downsides is that your office doesn't shut down for snow days, regardless of whether you, or your young, easily bored children, can leave your house/office.

We've spent the day back and forth between keeping my kids active by taking them outside in the snow between calls (risking them turning into little kiddo-icicles) and letting them thaw out and relax in front of the fire (aka letting Netflix babysit while I work), and while I know I am freezing/rotting their brains all at the same time, we're making the best of it!

I have no clue about the science behind it, but snow days just make me want to eat all the things all day. Luckily I had leftover taco meat on hand, so I was properly fueled for my 183 trips to the top of the driveway with a sled in tow!

This time around, I just sauteed onions and mushrooms for a few min in some @chosenfoods avo oil, then added quartered brussels, tossed in an ice cube and covered so they would steam through while browning. Then added some red bell peppers at the end (they cook faster than the others and I like em a little crunchy). Served it up with some leftover @butcher_box ground beef turned taco meat and topped with green olives. And added some @farmhouseculture dill pickle kraut for good measure.

D12M2: Lunch on the fly! I didn’t have any leftovers or time to pack a lunch this morning. So I grabbed a chicken apple sausage and a bottle of @primalkitchenfoods Greek salad dressing and ran out the door. 🏃‍♀️ Thankfully the school I work at has a decent salad bar! 🙌🥗
