Healthy alternative when you're craving apple pie: apple cinnamon oat bars 🙂

Recipe:
▪ 2 tablespoonscoconut oil
▪ 2 apples
▪ 2 tbsp agavé syrup
▪ 180 g porridge oats
▪ 2 tsp ground cinnamon
▪ 1 tbsp dried cranberries (optional)
▪ 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds (optional)
🍎🍪🍯🌱
✔ Preheat the oven to 180°C
✔ Cut the apples into quarters, remove the seeds, then place them, unpeeled, in a food processor
✔ Process to a purée, adding a splash of water if necessar
✔ Melt the coconut oil and agavé syrup together in a pan over a medium-high heat
✔ Once the oil and syrup have combined, stir in the apple purée and stir well
✔ Add the oats, cinnamon, cranberries and pumpkin seeds and stir thoroughly to form a sticky mixture
✔ Transfer the mixture to a prepared tin (20 cm square) pressing down well, and bake until the top is golden brown (about 20 minutes)
✔ Allow to cool completely before cutting

Yummy energy balls 
Need - 
Food processor
4 tbl spoons of chia seeds 
4 tbl spoons of quinoa 
90g dried dates
90g dried cranberries 
90g chopped almonds
5 tbl spoons of coconut oil
Do - 
Put it all in the blender or food processor. Put in a container in the fridge for an hour.
 Take out and using a teaspoon scoop out and roll into balls. 
Makes 15/20 depending on the size you make them. 
Eat and put the rest in the fridge. 
Yummy healthy midmorning or mid afternoon snack.

Mapo Tofu is a well known dish from Sichuan.  Normally it is cooked with minced pork or beef but here minced dehydrated shiitake mushrooms are used.  It's as nice with just tofu aswell because the flavour from the chilli bean sauce and sichuan pepper corns is immense.  Add a dollop of black bean sauce for a deeper flavour and Sichuan oil for extra numbing sensation!  P.S you can use the reserve mushroom water.

The key to this dish is to blanch the tofu for a min in hot salted water to make the tofu tender and removes some of the soy bean taste.  Then simmer the tofu in the thickened sauce quickly so tofu doesn't get old and serve immediately! Some variate has less sauce but we like it saucy just like us😘. Our next event is for Chinese New  Year.  Link in bio xxx.
