Busssssssy mornings. 😳✨ waking up at 6 and working out shortly after... goal is 6:30! Showering and waking Sophia for school and off by 8! Now I relax.... sorta πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ my muscles are shaking! I did a week of cardio and after my rest day I wanted to lift heavy things! 25 minutes of shoulder presses, bicep curls, lunges, and sumo squats. Oh. My. QUADS!! They’re killing me πŸ˜³πŸ˜¬πŸ™πŸΌ my girls are completely obsessed and rocking the new challenge that started yesterday. So proud! I started as a trial the concept of intermittent fasting (16:8) in combination with low(er) carb. My breakfast often has fruit and its not always low carb 🍌 yet for my late lunch I try to get as less carbs as possible for that day.
In comparison my sugars are way more stable ( what a surprise I know, but I had to see for myself 😊), I didn't really rose above my targets, which I struggled before. And I am beyond happy, that I only need a quarter of my usual bolus insulin πŸŽ‰

Macros look good this week, but time for some honesty. I’m still trying to allow myself to eat more... I’m not necessarily hungry but I struggle to let myself eat more than about 1200 calories without feeling anxious. I’ve had issues with disordered eating in the past and while tracking has been great, I’m worried I may get too obsessed with it if I don’t ease up soon. It’s a difficult thing weighing up whether to track my strict keto and hit big losses on the scales, or ease back and hope that the weight naturally continues to slowly come off. I’m loving the weight loss, I’m feeling healthy and much more confident in myself (though I still want to lose another 10kg). I know that where I’ve eased up in the past I’ve stacked it all back on, plus some. It’s a difficult process for me. I know I have a terrible relationship with food and keto is helping me address it in some ways... I just don’t want it to control me. Does anyone else ever feel like this? .

Somehow I'm always hungrier when something in my daily routine changes. Today my 2 year old didn't go to preschool so she is at home with me and all I've wanted to do today is eat. I haven't been craving anything unhealthy.. Just to eat something πŸ˜‚

(2/80) Are you more of a morning person 🌞 or late night πŸ¦‰??? When I began my journey toward better health, I used to try to do my workouts after work. I quickly discovered that wasn't the time of day that worked for me....I was mentally drained then, often hungry, or something unexpected came up to disrupt my plans. I just wasn't consistent at that time. 
Mornings work best for me. Figure out what works best for you, your schedule, and the type of person you are! 
Making changes for the better take time. I'm grateful that I have the opportunity each day to make them!! It OUR time! πŸš‚ We've got this!!! I started the fast Saturday night weighing roughly 217 lbs and ended it this morning weighing in at 211 lbs!!!!! I consumed plenty of mineral water, coffee with a small amount of heavy cream & hot tea during the fasting period. Just last month I was sitting at 228 lbs so I’d say fasting & eating a #ketogenic diet really works for me!!!

I started the fast Saturday night weighing roughly 217 lbs and ended it this morning weighing in at 211 lbs!!!!! I consumed plenty of mineral water, coffee with a small amount of heavy cream & hot tea during the fasting period. Just last month I was sitting at 228 lbs so I’d say fasting & eating a #ketogenic diet really works for me!!!
