Whole30 day 12 breakfast; I don't know how you guys are feeling but to be super duper honest I'm getting a bit tired of the program.. but these are the hardest days right?! The food is good but I'm starting to miss some healthy ingredients... and it bugs me that sleep feels more difficult now than it did before whole30 but maybe it gets worse before it gets better?! last night I had a dream about sourdough bread with butter, peanut butter and chocolate sprinkles, which I haven't eaten in 1,5 years, so that was weird... today I didn't feel like working out so I did 45 minutes of full body stretches which was really really nice! |DAY 18| BREAKFAST AND MEAL PREP👩🏻‍🍳

#IAmWhole30...Day 18 and last night I spent my whole evening meal prepping... again. This is by far the hardest thing about doing a Whole30 for me because I love the food, I love how I feel but I do sometimes wish there was another 3 hours each day to fit it all in.
Still - I know it is really worth it and to be in control of what I am eating tends to massively help towards not feeling too overwhelmed with everything else! 
Managed to prep 2 dinners, 1 breakfast and 3 lunches so I did well!
Tackling the 2nd half of this busy week with a delicious 3 egg omelette/frittata with mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and spinach which I ate with some avocado on the side. 😋🥑
Now to walk to work! 🏃🏻‍♀️

Day 10.  #Progress.  Starting to lean out a wee bit and fit in my clothes a bit better.  Had to eat out today and promised the kid Taco Bell.  That was a nightmare.  Try ordering something and saying “no cheese, sour cream, beans or rice”. It was terrible but held me over till I could find a plate full of better quality #veggies. Day 16 like a boss! I'm super into porny close-ups of orange colored oven fries lately. Tuna and almond salad at work (something I made up that works out for me a lot at work when everyone else is having pasta). Leftover pork, roasted broccoli, and a few dates for lunch. Burger and fries for dinner except I wasn't hungry so I ate like 3 pieces of sweet potato and made a leftover plate for later with the rest (not pictured: sauteed onions and peppers). Ended up only having a CoYo and can of V8 for dinner. The heart wants what it wants. #whole30 #iamwhole30 #januarywhole30

Day 17 #whole30 (for me). How's the#whole30girlgang going this Thursday? .
Wish i could say i #smashed out my workouts yesterday and today. Truth is i haven't had the energy. Yesterday i managed 2 slow half hearted legs circuits and 1 round of circut 3. I just haven't been sleeping,  wish i could blame it on whole 30 but i know it's not the problem coz i get this whenever my body has change in excersise routine (same when i started bbg) i wake up so hot and restless and jittery and just toss and turn for hours. finally go to sleep when it's almost time to get up. Physio said she thinks my metabolism goes into overdrive to bulid muscle. That with low blood pressure probably.  While that might sound good to some it's actually really horrible. Someone suggested i take iron.  Has anyone else had this problem? .
.
On a yummy note, here is my last 2 lunches, and the BEST potatoes cooked in my actifry. So #quickandeasy. Seriously i use this like 6 days a week. It is another bulky thing taking up room in the cupboard but I've had it for over 3 years and it's well worth it. .

Day 17 done. Great workout tonight - 2.5 miles run/walk, I’m stoked about this! There’s some hope in me that feels I may be able to run the 10K race with my friends in April 😆. My energy levels are consistent, my skin is clearer....still aren’t thrilled to get out of bed on a morning tho! Guess you can have everything LOL xo

#whole30day16 dinner was a rendition of the unfried  hot chicken from @thedefineddish (I used drumsticks instead of thighs. Lunch was whole foods hot bar featuring @nomnompaleo. Breakfast was a veggie scramble on top of oven potatoes.

Sweet potato 
Add liner basket and 1 cup water to instant pot. Cook sweet potato for 10 mins on high pressure (mine were small) and let pressure release naturally. 
Top with ghee, roasted macadamia nut crumble, and green onions (oh my lanta  this is my new fave thing)

Breakfast tips 
Saute veggies and roast potatoes the night before. I do zucchini, mushrooms, and bell peppers, diced. Then add them to a pan and add 2 eggs and scramble. Top with reheated breakfast potatoes.

Here is my day 10: .

Scrambled eggs, 2 chicken spinach breakfast sausages (make these from @paleorunningmomma almost every week even when not doing Whole30), purple sweet potato fries and half an avocado smash.  Top this with @traderjoes Everything but the Bagel seasoning and add a cup of black Americano coffee... perfecto!

Arugula and spinach salad topped with pulled pork (leftover that was cooked in crockpot with garlic and yummy seasoning), bell peppers, cucumbers and topped with Green Goddess (I used @primalkitchenfoods ).. I added a few raw pecans after I took the pic and sprinkled some more of the Everything but the Bagel seasoning. #yum .

Been waiting to make this! Wonton Meatballs (thank you @nomnompaleo - this rocks), some of my own secret sauce, carrot,cucumber, cilantro and lime salad and finally the last of my purple sweet potato fries..
