I know talking about "that time of the month" can be quite taboo... BUT ⭐️ making sure you get enough iron in your diet during that time is essential, as we loose iron through blood loss
⭐️ some studies also suggest that adding additional omega 3 fatty acids into your diet during that time can help with adverse side effects, such as cramping ⭐️ in fact, one study concluded that fish oil is actually better than ibuprofen on treatment of severe cramps ⭐️ so this sandwich is ideal because the avocado and smoked salmon pack in the omegas and the beetroot ensures you get some iron in as well :) also, most breads are fortified with iron as well, so let's not fear the bread 🙌🏻

Mas se a medicina evoluiu muito mais nesses últimos anos, o que pode ter dado errado para essa tragédia acontecer?

Depois da segunda guerra mundial, com todos os países economicamente quebrados devido aos gigantescos gastos com tecnologia e armamentos, a solução foi usar todo esse avanço tecnológico causado pela guerra para produção de alimentos para a massa populacional. Na década de 60/70 a alimentação padrão já era proveniente de alimentos processados e refinados pelas maravilhosas máquinas.

Desde então todos esses índices de doenças começaram a subir disparadamente sem volta, a ponto de hoje em dia as pessoas acharem normal ter esse tanto de doença. É óbvio que hoje em dia esse tanto de doença generalizada é comum, mas não é normal.

E como deveria ser a alimentação no futuro para resolver esse problema 🤷🏻‍♂️ ?

T U E S D A Y 💪🏼 and still going strong. I started the day with a smoothie (banana, strawberries, 0fat yog, milk and 12g oats) which I had on my commute to work, which came to 2sp on #weightwatchers 💡 •
For lunch I’m sticking with my chicken salad 👉🏼🥗 but mixing it up with chicken, fresh coriander, green lentils, beans, red onion and a teaspoon of low kcal French dressing for 1sp overall 🙌🏼♥️ •
